It's beginning to look a lot like Southern Christmas Show!! {Giveaway}

Some of you may be reading this and saying, it's too early to think about Christmas. Well, then you haven't experienced the amazingness (yep, I made up that word!) of the Southern Christmas Show!

There's something for everyone at this show, crafts, yummy treats, wine sampling, one of a kind gifts and more. It features more than six acres of merchants, shopkeepers and crafters. Olde Towne Village of Shops, decorated trees, holiday designer rooms, unique gifts for the hard-to-buy-for people on your list. There's also a Holiday Entertainment stage, holiday foods, gifts, decorations, model trains & miniature houses, Christmas trees, doors, mantels and Santa Claus too! My personal favorite is the Christmas tree decorating contest. There was an Elvis tree last year that was AMAZING!

So bring the whole family, a group of your girlfriends or just yourselves and enjoy this amazing event! You won't regret it!

  4. We love the show and I would like to take my mom for the first time this year. Our favorite Christmas tradition is going to the NC Transportation Museum in Spencer for the Santa Train Ride, my boys have a blast and all the trains are decorated for the Holidays.

  6. Thanks for posting about the Christmas show. I've never been and it sounds like a lot of fun.
    Some of our favorite traditions are choosing a family ornament each year, making Christmas cookies, driving around to look at lights, and decorating gingerbread houses.

  7. I have two favorite traditions...one has been going on for as long as I can remember, and the other started a few years ago after we moved to Charlotte. I love reading "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" to my babies every year on Christmas Eve...my mom always read it with me as a child, and now it is the last thing we do before we tuck in Olivia and Carson on Christmas Eve. My other favorite "new" tradition is having each child choose a name from the Salvation Army Angel Tree and going shopping together to buy gifts for the angels.

  8. My favorite family tradition is making hot chocolate with mini marshmallows and helping my little guys put all the ornaments on the tree, while playing our favorite Christmas music. I love to watch them race back and forth trying to pick out their favorite ornaments to decorate the tree with. :)

  9. Every year, my husband and I write down our favorite memory (or two if it's been an eventful year) from the year and put it in an ornament then hang it on the tree. It's fun to open the memories from years past.

    Also, we like to buy ornaments from our travels, even if it's just a beach trip (we have Hawaii, Philly, Orlando, etc). It's always fun to reminisce about our trips and special occasions as we hang the ornaments.

  16. Our favorite tradition is always letting the kids open their new PJ's the night before Christmas.. They are always pre-washed, so they slip them right on and when Christmas morning comes, everyone is ready for pictures and opening presents... No fear of worn clothing and we get bright fresh pictures...

  17. Growing up, my favorite tradition was waking up about 4 in the morning and sneaking to see what Santa brought even before going to wake my brother! After I saw all the goodies, I would go wake him and we would p,ay for about an hour. We would then go crawl in bed with mom and dad for a while before we all got up and mom would make us a big breakfast.

  18. We drive up to the mountains and cut down our Christmas tree; then, we come home and decorate it! It's something we've done for years now, and the kids love it. Also, we're starting something new this year! We've been collecting spare change in a jar for a while now. Sometime in December, we'll count the change and donate that amount to a local charity!

  19. My favorite tradition would be going to church on Christmas Eve. We then come home & all put on our matching pajamas. :-)

    I have a good friend who always goes to the show with her Mom. I'd love to win the tickets for my Mom.
